In this series of images Katherine has tried to catch something of Hastings unique and increasingly surreal shingle beach. The muddle of ancient fishing practices, man made flotsom and jetson, decaying aquatic flora and fauna and abandoned strutures of wood and metal that make Hastings beach an exciting place full of curiosities and contrasts.
